CORE LIBRARY

CORE LIBRARY is an online resource centre and video library providing in-depth information, key insights and solution-based guidance on issues of polarisation, radicalisation and extremism.

CORE LIBRARY provides videos, reports and articles featuring experts, practitioners, former extremists and survivors of hate crimes and extremist violence.

CORE LIBRARY is a hub for the exchange of insights, expertise and best practice. It also provides on-going, dynamic research and commentary, produced in reaction to current events which involve issues of polarisation, radicalisation, extremism and violence. The library also includes video training materials delivered by experts and front-line practitioners

CORE LIBRARY provides much-needed content, for free, to anyone whose work involves dealing with some of the most serious challenges to peaceful co-existence in our world today.

CORE OBJECTIVES

● CORE LIBRARY’s high quality, authoritative, comprehensive resources can help institutions, practitioners, communities and policymakers understand why people become radicalised and develop suitable responses.

● CORE LIBRARY exists to address the gaps in knowledge sharing, disseminating best practice across fields and disciplines. In drawing together knowledge, research and practical experiences, we can help develop methods to reduce the risks of harm to the public from extremist violence and highlight important work being done across these various spaces.

● CORE LIBRARY aims to break down the barriers between academic fields and institutions, between researchers and practitioners, policymakers and former extremists, and between those who have experienced violence and those who study it.

PRODUCERS OF CORE LIBRARY

CORE LIBRARY is founded and produced by the award-winning education and content production company Fuuse.

The CORE LIBRARY team has won over 30 awards for their ground-breaking documentary film work about extremism, radicalisation and polarisation, including multiple Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards, as well as a BAFTA, a Royal Television Society and a Rory Peck Award. Our documentary films have been viewed by tens of millions of people worldwide. They have appeared on Netflix, Paramount, Reuters, BBC, Amazon Prime Video, Channel 4, ITV, The Guardian, CNN, The New York Times, SVT, DR1, NBC, Al Jazeera, The Atlantic and The Times of London.

After more than a decade of interviewing experts, survivors of extremist violence, practitioners and extremists across movements, we have decided to create CORE LIBRARY, creating a valuable repository of research and knowledge centre, and a hub for the exchange of insights, expertise and best practice.
