Rudina Çollaku (Albania)

Rudina Çollakuis is a human resource manager working for academic growth and the promotion of the Peace and Security Agenda. Since 2010, she has been the Founder and Executive Director of Woman Center for Development and Culture Albania -WCDCA, leading, supporting and guiding the organisation’s vision ‘to promote peace for sustainable communities’ 

Mrs. Çollaku has been a part time Lecturer at Alexander Xhuvani University from 2018. She is the organiser of leadership, career guidance, counseling and training courses for pre-university and university students, running activities outside university campuses. She is also a PhD candidate at Aldo Moro University. She is the President of the Albanian Centre for Integration of People with Special Needs, and arranges training with experts at both national and international levels. In addition, she has managed the women’s sector at the Interreligious Center in Elbasan since 2016, and is a Board Member of Inter Religious Institution Tirana-IRI (2019-Present).

Mrs. Çollaku is interested in capacity building, advocacy for human rights, empowering women and youth focused on promoting the role of women as peacebuilders and women role to prevent and combatant violent extremism.

Msc. Çollaku has finished three master’s degrees, a Master of Science in “Counseling Psychology and Pedagogy” and Master of Science in “Religious Studies” major Security -European University of Tiranaas well as a Professional Master’s in “Technology Economics” from “Aleksandër Xhuvani” University. She speaks English and Arabic and has passive knowledge of Italian.
