Europe

While extremist attacks are comparatively low in Europe, the refugee crisis of 2015 has sharpened anti-immigrant sentiments, leading to an increasingly polarised political landscape. Identarian movements have been flourishing, and European politics has lurched towards the right, with nationalist and populist parties gaining power. We’ve interviewed experts and former extremists to help understand this growing phenomenon. These videos address these political and social trends in Europe.
